Amazing little church
Review of St. Anne's Church Reviewed 16 July 2016 via mobile
If you are looking for something unique to do while in Cork this is an amazing little church! It also has a hidden gem!
You can climb the bell tower for only around €5 and it's well worth it! You not only get to weave your way up the narrow little staircases steeped in history but you find interesting pieces of historical artefacts and information on the church along the way!
You will reach one area and wait for it the surprise....this is where you get to play a tune on the bells. Your very own claim to fame! There is a book there that has songs you can choose from. Then the whole town gets to revel in your tune!
I think it's quite quirky and interesting and pretty cool for a church to allow you to do this, but wait there is more! When you reach the top of the tower it has amazing views over the city of Cork!
This is definitely my pick for the best panoramic view!
You won't be disappointed! Definitely don't pass up a visit to this place if you are in Cork.
